The National Hurricane Center is tracking Subtropical Storm Josephine and another area of unsettled weather in the Atlantic Thursday morning. Josephine is moving northeastward away from the United States, while forecasters are monitoring a separate disturbance east-southeast of Bermuda for possible development. As of the latest advisory, Josephine had maximum sustained winds of 65 mph and was moving northeast at 13 mph. The storm is expected to transition into a powerful extratropical cyclone, potentially producing hurricane-force winds by early Friday.Meanwhile, a trough of low pressure several hundred miles east-southeast of Bermuda is producing disorganized showers and thunderstorms. The NHC gives this system a 10% chance of developing into a tropical or subtropical system over the next 48 hours and the next seven days. Increasingly unfavorable upper-level winds are expected to limit its chances of development later this week.Josephine is forecast to continue moving farther northeast
