A Camden County Sheriff’s Office employee was arrested Saturday after deputies investigated a report of threats at a residence in unincorporated Kingsland, according to the sheriff’s office.The Camden County E-911 Center received a call about the reported threats at about 5 a.m. Deputies responded and, following an investigation, took the employee into custody and transported them to the Camden County Jail. The sheriff’s office did not identify the employee or specify any charges.The employee has been relieved of their duties, the agency said. Sheriff Kevin Chaney said employees are not above the law and that the office expects “professionalism, impartiality and accountability” in every investigation. The Sheriff’s Office says the matter remains under review, and additional information will be released as appropriate.
