17-year-old girl killed, 2 others injured in shooting outside Halloween party in Arlington: JSO

A 17-year-old girl was killed and two other people were injured in a shooting early Sunday outside the Regency Inn on Arlington Expressway, the Jacksonville Sheriff’s Office said.Officers responded around 1:42 a.m. to the area several blocks east of Cesery Boulevard and found the girl dead and another person with a gunshot wound, police said. That person was taken to a hospital and was in stable condition. A third victim drove to a local hospital; police did not provide an update on that person’s condition.Investigators believe an argument started among people waiting in line for a Halloween party, and the argument escalated into an exchange of gunfire.
